What Are Microgreens?
Fresh, Versatile, and Nutrient-Dense
Microgreens are young edible plants harvested shortly after the first leaves develop. They are nutrient-dense and come in a wide range of colors, textures, and varieties.
Typically growing 1–3 inches tall, the entire plant is edible. Microgreens can be enjoyed raw, used to finish dishes, or added to cooked meals near the end of preparation.
Because of their range of flavors—from mild and fresh to bold and peppery—they are an easy way to elevate everyday meals or plated dishes.
